The 2nd generation of web where online content and applications are created, collaborated on and shared by the web community. It describes the web as a community controlled interactive tool rather than a publishing medium.
Wiki
Community publishing tool or website that allows users to edit and control content. Wikis are collaborative projects that can be used to create extensive databases with the resource developed and expanded by its users.
Tag Cloud
Is a visual representation of the content tags for a website, blog or community. Font size is used to indicate the relative use of the tag - with larger fonts used for the most popular tags.
Podcast
An audio file made available online for users to download and provided via feeds and syndication. Podcast content can vary from traditional music to news, reviews, presentations and audio diaries.
